Donate Fundraising events Firewalk for Lives Well Lived At 8 pm on Tuesday 30th April 2019 hundreds of brave people are taking part in an attempt to beat the World Record for the most people doing a fire walk at the same time ... ... Why not join our team of staff, volunteers and supporters by being sponsored to walk on fire for Lives Well Lived? Our vision is a fair society for all, with lives well lived. Your help will make a huge difference. As a local charity we need funds to ensure that no one who needs our help goes unsupported. Why get involved in walking on fire? It’s often a surprise to people that Citizens Advice Gateshead is a local charity reliant on its own fundraising to enable us deliver free and impartial quality advice and information to enable people to know and understand their social welfare rights and responsibilities. We are already supporting over 12,000 people every year in Gateshead, leading to tangible improvements in people’s lives including improved financial resilience, enhanced mental health and overall wellbeing, as well as making a sizeable contribution to the local economy. Meanwhile over 3,000 calls to our local adviceline were left unanswered due to limited resources. Our vision is a fair society for all, with lives well lived. For every pound you raise for us, we will make it count for society. How can you get involved? Thank you so much for considering getting involved. Your help will make a huge difference, enabling us to build critical additional resources to ensure that no one who needs our help goes unsupported. If you’d like to sign up to support us through sponsorship by taking part in the event, please visit www.newcastlefirewalk.co.uk to book and pay £25 for your place. Email [email protected] to let us know when you have booked your place and we will organise a t-shirt for you to wear at the event!
